Maintainence and Repair for our CO2 Pumps
To ensure that your high pressure CO2 pump remains reliable, a regualr preventative mantanence schedule should e carried out. This servicing area describes the most common maintanence procedures to keep our labortary and industrial CO2 pumps working for long periods.
Industrial
P500 CO2 Pump (500g/min)
For discontinued opposing head P500 CO2 Pump
Pump Head maintenance for the P500 high pressure CO2 pump. Includes removal of the check valves and piston seals, followed by the re-assembly of the head with new seals and check valves.
P500-V2 CO2 Pump
Includes operation for P1K and P251K pumps
Preventative maintanence of the new P500 high pressure CO2 pump. Includes removal and replacement of the check valves and piston seals. Procedure is identical for the P1K (1kg/min CO2 pump) and P251K (1000 bar Co2 Pump).
P251K Check Valves
Service of the 1000 bar Check valves
Service of the Core Separations high pressure, high flow checks valves for the P251K Co2 pump. Operation includes removal and repalcement of the check valve seat, spring and ball.
P500-V2 Bearing Grease
Includes operation for P1K and P251K
Periodic greasing of the CO2 pump piston bearing reduces the noise created by the surfcae friction between the bearing and the piston strike plate. Operation includes removal of the pump casing and application of the bearing grease.
Lab
P50 CO2 Pump (50g/min)
Preventative maintanence of Laboratory CO2 Pump
Maintenance for the labortary scale P50 high pressure CO2 pump. Includes removal of the check valves and piston seals, followed by the re-assembly of the head with new seals and check valves.
Manuals
Core | Pump Manual
This manual detail’s start up, installation and servicing for range of the high-pressure CO2 pumps including the P500 (500g/min) and P1K (1kg/min) both offering pressures up to 689 bar (10,000 psi) and P251K offering 250g/min at 1000 bar (14,500 psi). (Version 1.1)
Core | P500 Pump Manual
This manual contains all the relevant information for the start-up, installation, and servicing of the Core Separations CO2 pump. This high-pressure CO2 pump is used on all our supercritical CO2 systems. Superseded by P500 MK2 in 2022. (Version 1.2)
